Land in sight?! - The EU Multiannual Financial Framework and impetus for rural areas
How does the European Union organise its long-term budget planning? What priorities are reflected in the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) - and how do these decisions affect Schleswig-Holstein and the rural regions? These questions are the focus of our event on the EU's Multiannual Financial Framework on Friday, 11 July 2025.
We cordially invite you to join us on 11 July 2025. Niclas Herbst (MEP), Chairman of the Budgetary Control Committee in the EU Parliament, will kick off the event with a keynote speech on the EU Multiannual Financial Framework. This will be followed by a round table discussion with Oliver Prüß from the Akademie Ländliche Räume SH. The event will shed light on the structures and content of the current MFF and is intended to stimulate discussion on financial priorities such as cohesion policy, agricultural funding and innovation and offer space for exchange and discussion - in particular on the role of Germany and Schleswig-Holstein within the EU budget framework.
Venue: On the premises of the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein and via hybrid online connection
Note: Please register by 4 July 2025 by e-mail to info(at)europa-union-sh.de and also let us know whether you would like to participate in presence or hybrid. Places for participation in presence are limited
