Mühlenfunken - Pop & Poetry Festival for Franco-German friendship

The towns of Glinde in the Stormarn district and Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their Franco-German town twinning in 2024. Together with the Europa-Union, this anniversary will be celebrated on 7 September 2024 with a Franco-German citizens' festival in front of the Glinder Kupfermühle. In addition to high-calibre authors from the spoken word and poetry slam scene, a team from the Glinder schools will also perform. This will be determined in a preliminary competition following poetry slam workshops at Glinde Grammar School and Wiesenfeld Community School. The school competition will take place on 15.07.24 at 18:00 in the town library at Glinder Markt.

There will also be a musical programme by the Hamburg swing and chanson group "Rendez-Vous".
