The rise of right-wing populist and extremist parties and attitudes poses new challenges for those involved in political education. What can we change in our work in order to take effective action against the ‘shift to the right’? How do right-wing populism and right-wing extremism try to put pressure on us as political educators and what can we do to counter this? This symposium offers actors in adult political education input, dialogue and networking to address these and other current issues.
