The EFRE programme
The state government of Schleswig-Holstein has launched the ‘Landesprogramm Wirtschaft (LPW)’ in the 2021-2027 funding period in order to provide targeted support for Schleswig-Holstein as a business location with the help of funding from the Europäischen Fond für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) and the joint federal-state task ‘Verbesserung der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur’ (GRW) as well as state funds.
The Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) is one of the five European Structural and Investment Funds of the European Union, which finances economic catch-up processes of poorer regions and regions with structural problems and is therefore one of the most important financing instruments of European cohesion policy.
